A woman was detained by police after a man was found dead in suspicious circumstances at a house in Leeds.
The 44-year-old man, who has not yet been named, was discovered at the house in Old Run View, Belle Isle, Leeds, at 11.45pm on Thursday.

Detectives said they were treating the man's death as suspicious.

A woman aged 40 from the same address was arrested in connection with the death and is currently in custody.

A post mortem examination was due to be held later today to try to determine the cause of his death.

The West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are continuing to make inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death.
