LEEDS United fans were in dreamland today after hometown hero Jonny Howson fired the Whites to Wembley.
The Leeds-born 19-year-old scored twice last night to give United a 3-2 aggregate win over Carlisle in the League One play-offs semi-finals.
His second goal came in stoppage time, sparking wild scenes of celebration among the 1,600 travelling supporters.

Leeds boss Gary McAllister paid tribute to the fans who have roared his side through one of the most turbulent seasons in the club's history. "Tonight again they were fantastic," he said. "That was for them. The players would be the first to admit that."

The win is expected to spark a scramble for tickets for the play-offs final on May 25, which will be United's first visit to Wembley in 12 years and where they will play Doncaster or Southend.
