A DRIVER suffered serious injuries in an early morning crash a day after another major smash on the same stretch of road.
The latest accident happened on the A660 Otley Road, Bramhope, Leeds, close to the Ramada Jarvis Leeds Parkway Hotel, at 6.47am on Saturday.

A blue Mazda collided with a white Scania van and the car driver, believed to be a local man in his 50s, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with potentially life threatening injuries.

The van driver was uninjured.

Police closed the road for several hours following the crash.

It happened yards from the scene of another serious smash on Leeds Road in Bramhope on Friday morning.

A Citroen C3 is thought to have collided with a stationary double decker bus and then spun into the path of a Vauxhall Corsa.

The 12-year-old male passenger of the Citroen was taken to LGI with potentially life threatening injuries and today remains in a serious condition.
