Known for her loud and hearty laugh, the trained pastry chef originally found fame on 1980s breakfast television programme TV-AM.
This is her first cookery book since 1984 and also includes a DVD of her making some of the recipes on location in the Caribbean. The filming was partly done in Jamaica, where Rustie was born.
Excited
She said: "I'm very excited about this book.
"It's taken a long time to put it together but I'm very happy with it.
"I've made all the recipes as easy to follow as possible and with things you can buy at supermarkets.
"I hope that people will enjoy the book, have a lot of fun trying the recipes and experiencing a taste of the Caribbean."
Recipes include rice and peas, ackee and saltfish, jerk chicken and Rustie's Aphrodisiac Cocktail.
