New sculptures for Morley
Two new sculptures take pride of place in front of Morley Town Hall.
The statues of a weaver and a miner represent the town's industrial past of mines and mills.
Created by local artist Melanie Wilks, they were carved from stone donated by Woodkirk Stone.
The sculptures were the brainchild of the town's Morley Murals Committee which was set up in 2004 to create an art trail which would attract visitors.
The Rotary Club raised the money for the miner and Morley Town Council, along with the murals committee, found the money for the weaver.
