New plea in hunt for raiders who terrorised casino staff

POLICE have renewed an appeal for information on a terrifying raid on a Leeds casino.
Three men entered the Gala Casino in Wellington Bridge Street, Westgate, on September 4 and threatened staff with what is believed to be a bladed instrument and a sledgehammer.
Nothing was taken during the incident and no one was injured although four people were treated for shock. The suspects made off towards Kirkstall Road in a black Ford Mondeo with false EY 02 KOU registration number plates.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the vehicle described, including anyone who may have spoken to police previously, is asked to contact Holbeck Police on 0113 2414659 and pass on any information for the attention of DC Binns and DI NichoIson.
