M62 multi vehicle pile up causes gridlock
A multi vehicle accident on the westbound M62 has triggered traffic chaos.
The accident occured late on Thursday afternoon between Junctions 27 Gildersome and Junction 26 at Chain Bar.
The accident was moved onto the hard shoulder after 4.30pm but was still causing major delays for rush hour commuters with queues tailing back onto the M621.
