Guests were treated to live performances and DJ sessions, featuring tracks on the album which saw eight bands remix music by eight producers and vica versa.
The remix-on-remix album is free and available for digital download as part of Digital Week 09 which has been running since Monday.
Jam Sponge, album producer, said: "There are so many music scenes in Leeds for the size of the city and they all get on one way or another.
"Bands don't often get the opportunity to remix tracks let alone dance music, so we felt this direction for the Us and Them CD was the best way for the artists to show off their creative talents.
"On this CD there are so many styles – breaks, house, metal, hardcore, post rock, funk, soul and electro to name a few... A metal band remixing a house track, a funk producer remixing a pop band... this is new and we hope it will continue into the future.
"We could have just put out tracks by the artists but that would just be another compilation. With this angle they are remixing different genres and we can't wait for the results."
All the musicians and producers are Leeds based and include: Heads We Dance, JD73 (JazzDoctor73), The Officers, A Last Concern, Skavolution and Chris Dawkins.
Digital Week 09 follows on from the success of last year where more than 500 creative and digital professionals enjoyed a week of events, seminars and networking.
The remix-on-remix album has been commissioned by Leeds Digital Week, Marketing Leeds, Leeds City Council and Sharing the Success.
The album is now available for digital download at Leeds Music Trust and www.digital-week.co.uk.
