A 56-YEAR-old Leeds man fallen to his death while skiing in the French Alps.
The accident happened on Wednesday in the resort of Tignes, close to the well-known winter sports location Val d'Isere.

He suffered serious head injuries in the fall and doctors were unable to save him.
The man has not yet been named.
He is the second Leeds man this month to be killed in a winter sports tragedy.
Phil Tate died after he plunged 80ft down a crevasse while snowboarding on March 2.
Mr Tate, from Roundhay, was with his partner on an off-piste route in the Mont Blanc range above Chamonix, also in the French Alps.
When they reached a flat segment, the experienced snowboarder climbed off his snowboard intending to tackle it on foot, but the snow and ice gave way and he fell.
The 32-year-old is believed to have been killed instantly.
Following his death, colleagues at Leeds-based private equity house Endless LLP paid tribute to him and said it was a "tragic loss".
The latest tragedy happened in Tignes, about 5km from Val d'Isere.
Tignes is comprised of several villages and with Val d'Isere makes up the L'Espace Killy ski area. It features more than 300km of skiing on-piste, as well as many kilometres of off-piste terrain. The resort is said to offer skiing for people of all abilities.
