A bargain basement shop chain has unveiled a recession-busting line in swimwear - with a little help from West Yorkshire beauty Amy Kitchingman.
Amy, 21, was chosen by 99p Stores to model its new bikinis, which - as the name of the firm implies - are selling at just 99p each.
The skimpy string two-pieces are available in eight different designs and a variety of eye-catching colours.
Amy, who grew up in Leeds but now lives in Birstall, said: "I love these bikinis - they are fabulous.
"I find them very comfortable and I would definitely take them on holiday and happily wear them on the beach."
Hussein Lalani, commercial director for 99p Stores, said it had sourced the super-cheap range from a factory in the Far East.
He claims the bikinis are four times cheaper than those offered by his firm's closest rivals.
Based in Northamptonshire, 99p Stores has nearly 80 outlets across the UK.
