TWINKLE-toed Lynne Corrigan is happy to admit she's desperate to find a man to sweep her off her feet.
But Lynne's not necessarily looking for love – she needs to find a partner to pursue her dancing dreams.

She was first bitten by the ballroom bug as a young girl but gave up the hobby when she was about 14.

Her passion was reignited recently when she won a competition to twirl with Strictly Come Dancing star Darren Bennett.

And as she celebrates her 40th birthday, she is keen to hit the dancefloor once again – if only she can find a man.

Lynne, from Morley, Leeds, said: "I love dancing and I still do salsa. In fact I'm going to a cuban dance festival for my 40th.

"I'd absolutely love to take up ballroom again, though – but you really need a man and I'm single at the moment!

"It would be great to find a dance partner so I could take it up again. The one regret I have in life is giving up ballroom dancing as a child."

Lynne rekindled her love affair with ballroom when she won the chance to have a dream wish granted by Spice Yorkshire, an activities, adventure, sports and social club.

She chose the chance to dance with Darren, who won BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing with EastEnders star Jill Halfpenny and is married to fellow Strictly professional Lilia Kopylova.

Lynne, a project manager for O2, said: "It was fantastic. It was simply the best birthday present that money cannot buy!"

Run by a membership scheme, Spice Yorkshire offers a host of activities every month from white water rafting, fire eating, abseiling, tight rope walking and skydiving, to conquering the fear of public speaking, learning about wine tasting, dancing, hot air ballooning to appearing in a play.
