A Leeds leisure centre has been toning up after undergoing a £500,0000 facelift.
The Scott Hall Leisure Centre is mid way through a massive improvement scheme which is due for completion next March.

Its Bodyline gym now has even more equipment for visitors as well as a new sound system and televisions.

The second phase of the project begins on Monday, when an overhaul of the swimming pool changing rooms begin.

The swimming pool itself will close from Monday while work is carried out.

The project expected to be completed by the end of next March. All other areas of the centre will remain open as normal.

Leeds City Council Executive Member for Leisure Coun John Procter said: "We are confident the improvements being carried out, along with the new facilities in the gym, will be greatly appreciated by customers."

The improvements have been funded by Leeds City Council and Sport England.
