TWO United fans were "absolutely ecstatic" after snapping up the LAST tickets for the play-offs final at 7pm yesterday.
Life-long supporters Stuart Otway, 23, and Luke Newsome, 20, from Birstall, had been queuing at Elland Road since 4am yesterday after taking over from friends who had been camped out with thousands of others since 8.30pm on Tuesday.

They received grudging congratulations from some of the 50 behind them who had made it within metres of the ticket office only to be told they had missed out.

Luke, who sells and installs office furniture, said: "I feel sorry for those that were behind us – we'd queued up with those guys all day."

Stuart, a chef, said: "All day long I thought we wouldn't get tickets.
"We waited for six hours without moving at all because of the queue-jumping."

Neither dared suggest a score for the match, saying: "We'll worry about that on Sunday. We got lucky enough tonight."
