Jeremy Clarkson has described how he was recently breathalysed by police after a "small car crash" while filming Top Gear.
He told Jonathan Ross's chat show that police tested him last week - but everything turned out fine.

He said: "We were filming last week, I had a small car crash - the police said: 'We have to breathalyse you'.

"The cameras were on. I thought 'What if?' - (but) I was completely fine."

Despite his petrol head reputation, Clarkson insisted he was a cautious driver.

He said: "I'm a dawdler, I haven't been stopped for years."
