A HISTORIC school is opening its doors as part of the Heritage Open Days weekend.
Fulneck Former Pupils Association has organised an open day at Fulneck School in Pudsey, Leeds, with material dating back over 200 years on display.
On September 9 in the West Hall, items on show should include pocket money ledgers from 1806, a control book showing school finances between 1793 and 1812, registers, headmaster's annual reports and prospectuses from 1829.
The archives also include programmes for concerts, speech days, drama performances and sports as well as photos of pupils. Famous alumni include Nobel prize winner Robert Robinson, Prime Minister H H Asquith and Dame Diana Rigg. Everyone is welcome to the event between 10am and 3pm.
