Hemsworth: Road accident victim named

A woman killed in a road accident in Hemsworth has been named.
Ann Oxley, 59, died after her silver Chevrolet was in collision with a wall and a lampost on Barnsley Road at its junction with Moorshutt Road just after 6.30am on Thursday, November 5.

Ms Oxley, of Cudworth, Barnsley, worked at Birkenshaw's bakery on Market Street, Hemsworth.

An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned at Wakefield Coroner's Court.

Police are appealing for information.
