Four car Leeds pile up causes havoc

A FOUR car pile-up caused early morning rush hour chaos in the West Park area of Leeds.
A green Renault Megane, blue and white Volvo van, Mercedes Sprinter van and blue Ford Fiesta collided after skidding on black ice at Butcher Hill shortly before 7am today.

A stretch of the road between Abbey Grange High School and the Dalesman Pub was shut which created tailbacks.

I drive this way to work and have been expecting a bad crash to happen here ever since the installation of an incredibly badly-designed contraflow system. It's been an accident waiting to happen... and it looks like it finally has. :(
