Crew are the pirates of Leeds Playhouse

West Yorkshire Playhouse hoisted up the Jolly Roger for a special pirate-themed workshop.
It was linked to the theatre's Christmas show Peter Pan and involved Leeds Octopus Crew - a team of 30 adults with learning disabilities.
The crew received work-based training by shadowing staff and were introduced to DJ-ing, live music and visual arts in preparation for a night of pirate revelry at Leeds University Union on September 9, when they will transform the LUU into Yorkshire's own Black Pearl.
The Octopus Crew's own nightclub, the Beautiful Octopus Club, is open to over-18s and fully accessible to wheelchairs.
