DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery at a bingo hall in West Yorkshire.
Three men wearing balaclavas, carrying what seemed to be machetes and knives, struck at the Gala Bingo in Tong Street, Bradford, on Tuesday at around 7.15pm.
They threatened staff before making off with cash.
A number of people were inside at the time of the robbery but no-one was hurt.
A 30-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion or robbery.
Det Insp Gerry O'Shea of Bradford South CID said: "There were a lot of people in the hall at the time and I would appeal to anyone who saw anything or has any information to contact Bradford South CID on 0845 60 60 606.
"We have increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance to residents and customers."
