A £1million investment will see a fresh New York-inspired cocktail bar and restaurant open at Leeds Grand Arcade in November.

Further details have been revealed about the 9,000sqft Manahatta bar, at the old Gatecrasher site in Leeds’ Northern Quarter, which will host two separate bars over two floors in a “chic and classy” new concept bar for Arc Inspirations.

The venue’s new menu will include dishes by well-known Leeds chef Anthony Flynn inspired by New York’s culinary scene as well as a broad range of drinks including cocktails, spirits, beers and wines.

Martin Wolstencroft, managing director of Arc Inspirations LLP, said: “Manahatta will be the perfect destination for the unpretentious seeking intelligent nightlife.

“Food, drinks, service, music and atmosphere are equally important and the glamorous design reflects our aspirations to give our customers the best time.”

Manahatta is Arc Inspirations’ 12th location in Yorkshire and will open to the public on November 8.
