Leeds indie rockers The Pigeon Detectives have been forced to cancel two concert dates after frontman Matt Bowman came a cropper on stage.
Matt injured his leg while making a trademark leap off a drum kit during the band's appearance at Radio 1's Big Weekend event in Maidstone on Sunday.
He battled on until the end of the set before being taken to a local hospital for treatment for ligament damage and internal bleeding.
Matt was then ferried back to Yorkshire, where he is now recovering under the watchful eye of former Leeds United physio Dave Hancock.
His injury means the band have had to call off this week's shows in Dublin and Belfast.
The Pigeons apologised to fans with tickets for the concerts and said they were looking to reschedule the dates.
It was not clear if the start of their mainland UK tour in Glasgow on Friday would be affected by Matt's injury.
The Rothwell-based band played two sell-out shows in Leeds's Millennium Square at the beginning of this month.
