RECORD breaker Faisal Mehmood hit an irresistible 196 not out as Halifax Direct (315-2) piled on the pain for Rodley B (72-8) in Dales Council B Division.
The debutant's champagne knock is a divisional record, the previous highest being 168 not out from Pudsey St Lawrence's Gareth Duckworth in 2006.

An awesome bowling spurt of 7-8 from Steve Hirst helped joint leaders Rodley to hammer Mount by 10 wi
ckets in the A Division. Hurst's heroics helped to rout Mount for 65, the visitors racing to 66-0 in reply.

Though eclipsed by Gavin Atkinson's innings of 78, Scott Sladen's 71 helped Shipley Providence (185-9) to keep apace at the top after beating Baildon (184-2).

A golden spell from Raghu Nath (6-11) saw third-placed Leeds Sikh YMCA (96) hold sway against Farnley Hill, despite the best efforts of Pankaj Rathour (5-17) and Chris Crampton (5-42).

Steve Dalby (6-19) and Sam Hewitt (81no) were in pristine form for New Farnley (122-5) against Pudsey Congs (91).

Elsewhere, Andy Robinson hit 101 as Whitehall (261-5) thrashed Cookridge (86) in C Division.

Hurst followed up Saturday's exploits with an unbeaten 53 as Rodley (196-7) saw off Farsley (191-5) in the first round of the Pool Paper Mills Cup the next day.

Gurpreet Suri (90) starred as Leeds Sikh YMCA (238-6) beat Shipley Providence, while a stand between Joe Pratt (75no) and M Holloway (61no) helped Adel (155-2) to ease past Wibsey Park Chapel (153-7).
