Dacre Son & Hartley has appointed property professional Paul Wilson to head up the residential agency at its Ilkley office. Paul, who returned to Dacres this year as area manager for Wharfedale and Leeds will manage a team of eleven who are based at the prominent head office on The Grove.

Paul says: “I have lived in Ilkley for nearly ten years and have a thorough understanding of the marketplace here, which is very unique. Dacres is a part of the fabric of Ilkley, and with plans in place for further expansion in the town, it’s an exciting time to be leading such a dedicated team who are renowned for their personal service.”

Due to the firm’s increase in demand for private valuations and surveys, highly regarded Chartered Surveyor Ian Briggs, who is celebrating 40 years in the property industry this year, has been appointed to head up the firm’s residential survey coverage in Ilkley, the Wharfedale, Craven and Yorkshire Dales National Park areas.

Ian says: “Our survey department is a thriving division of our business as buyers look to obtain bespoke private reports to supplement lenders’ less informative mortgage valuation reports and thus make a better purchase decision.”

Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacre, Son & Hartley says the new appointments enhanced what they were able to offer customers and placed them in a privileged position.

With 20 offices throughout West and North Yorkshire, Dacre, Son & Hartley is Yorkshire’s largest independent estate agent. For further information, or to arrange a free market appraisal, call 0113 230 4330 or visit www.dacres.co.uk
