Dozens of potential buyers have already registered their interest in the Carlton Green development, which is being marketed by, Your Move.

The first homes will be available to reserve from September 17 at an information evening at Your Move’s office on Commercial Street in Rothwell. A selection of two, three and four bedroom homes will form the first release with prices starting at £195,000. A £500 reservation fee is required to secure a property and each one will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Tim Reeve of Advent Developments says: “This former school building has been a much loved Rothwell landmark since 1879 so it’s full of wonderful history. Since starting work on the conversion we have received lots of enquiries from potential buyers. As a result we’ve decided to launch the first release of homes now, so buyers can reserve a property off-plan and move straight in when work completes at the end of the year.”

Irene Scurrah from Your Move adds: “Rothwell’s superb range of local amenities, established community and easy access to both Leeds and Wakefield city centres, make the town very appealing. In addition the ongoing economic recovery and low interest rates mean there’s a lot of confidence in the local market.”
