As confidence in the property market continues to rise and Bank of England Governor, Mark Carney suggested that interest rates will remain low for the time being, one housebuilder remains committed to providing an enviable selection of brand new homes right across the region.

Miller Homes, which currently has 12 developments across the Yorkshire and Humber region, ranging from rural idylls to stylish city centre locations, has said it will build over 320 new properties during the coming year.

The company signalled its commitment to the large-scale building project and said its plans would give house buyers greater choice, increased confidence and provide beautiful homes just where they wantded to live.

Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes North said the motivation behind the project was all about making the buying experience easier for people.

He said: “We want to help buyers find their dream home and try to make this as simplistic as possible. For us it’s about providing homes in desirable locations, making them affordable and giving our customers a journey that supports, rather than hinders, their house buying experience.”

In the Yorkshire and Humber region, Miller Homes builds a selection of properties ranging from one bedroom apartments to five bedroom executive homes. Property types at each development are considered at the planning stage to meet the needs of the local community and its demographic reinforcing the housebuilder’s ethos of providing quality homes in the best locations.

During 2014, two new developments will be launched in Harrogate.

Mr McElroy went on: “We aim to support local communities and provide much needed new housing in key areas. We do this, not only by building appropriate homes, but by offering a range of ways in which buyers can receive help including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme and also our own Home Exchange initiative.”

A recent survey found that over 97 per cent of customers said that they would recommend Miller Homes to their friend and the housebuilder also has five stars for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation.

In the Yorkshire region, Miller Homes currently offers one bedroom apartments from £75,500 and five bedroom executive homes from £205,000.

Victoria Gardens between the village of Altofts and Normanton offers two, three and four bedroom homes just three miles from the M62 and within easy commuting distance of Leeds by road or rail.

Their Flaxton Court development offers a range of house types close to local amenities in a well designed, peaceful development.
