Finding a new home can be a costly affair with added extras such moving fees, legal fees and stamp duty to name just a few.

So, in recognition of this, award winning housebuilder Miller Homes is offering housebuyers in the town a special offer – stamp duty paid.

“We are committed to helping buyers from all walks of life and understand that the disposable cash required to move home can sometimes be prohibitive,” said Jan Hanaby area sales manager Miller Homes Yorkshire. “This offer is designed to help buyers realise their home moving dreams and we believe it could possibly make the difference between moving to a brand new Miller Home or not.”

The offer, which applies to available properties at both its Harlow One and Quercus Green developments in the picturesque spa town, is available each Saturday and Sunday only during the month of August.

Properties currently available include four and five bedroom homes in a variety of designs including three storey and more traditional designs. Prices start from £350,000 which would necessitate a payment of £7,500 stamp duty on this particular price.

“Stamp duty still remains one of the biggest costs attributed to buying more expensive properties and if we can provide just a little more assistance that is fantastic,” said Jan.

Harlow One is located on Harlow Moor Road, only ten minutes walk from the centre of Harrogate. The sales centre is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am – 5.30pm.

Quercus Green is situated on Bogs Lane, Harrogate, HG1 4EB. The sales centre is open Thursday – Monday, 10.30am to 5.30pm.
