A leading housebuilder is pledging its support to the local community by supporting local businesses.

Miller Homes, which is building a selection of properties at its Harlow One scheme near Harrogate, has prioritised local labour.

“We try to use local trades people where possible but it was particularly important to do this at Harrogate so we could support the smaller, more rural economy,” said Jan Hanaby area sales manager Miller Homes Yorkshire. Businesses included James Brindley interiors, Fired Earth and Harrogate Candle Company which contributed to the striking ‘Oakdale’ show home; Weeton’s Deli who provide the handover hampers, which each buyer enjoys when they receive the keys to their new homes, and Skelton’s landscapers.

A selection of four and five bed homes remain for sale and are currently priced from £530,000. One available house type is the strikingly designed ‘Hollins’ which embraces the elevation of its situation to give an impressive layout, spacious family areas and four bedrooms.

Jan concluded, “Homes at Harlow One benefit from high specifications and finishes giving a real sense of quality, opulence and elegance. Our state-of-the-art sales centre and wonderful show home by leading Yorkshire interior Jeanette Holmes, all help to bring homes at Harlow One to life ensuring buyers choose their new home with complete confidence.”

Harlow One is a development of just 46 homes and is located on Harlow Moor Road, Harrogate, HG2 0AE. The sales centre is open each day from 10.30am – 5.30pm. Further information can be found by calling or by visiting www.millerhomes.co.uk
