Estate agency Manning Stainton has been awarded a silver level accreditation against the sixth generation Investors in People standard.

The firm was amongst just fifty-two organisations across a range of sectors and countries to be assessed against the new standard, created with input from academics, business leaders, industry experts and over a thousand leading organisations.

The standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results. Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework which reflects the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.

Mark Crowther from the Learning Connection Ltd, who carried out the independent assessment said: “Manning Stainton is the epitome of an Investor in People organisation. They are committed to providing excellence in terms of the customer experience but understand and recognise the huge part played by every member of the team to make this happen.

“They have a growing business based on sound leadership and core values and this impacts massively on people management and development processes.

“Manning Stainton is also very clear about the need for continuous improvement to support business growth and uses the IIP framework to structure and support their organisational development agenda.” Commenting on the award, Mark Manning, sales director, said he was proud of staff.

Manning Stainton has 19 Residential Sales and Letting offices across West and North Yorkshire and employs 218 staff.
