If you fancy combining some much needed new house hunting with a little bit of Hallowe’en fun, then why not pop along to one of Miller Homes’ Yorkshire developments this Hallowe’en weekend.

On Saturday October 31 and Sunday November 1, developments across the region are hosting a competition to win a magical prize in the form of a family ticket for Harry Potter World.

It’s the kind of opportunity you’d probably wish for it you had a real life magic wand.

Harry Potter World is a land of witches and wizards and for visitors to Miller Homes this weekend, there’s a chance to have some fun guessing the number of sweets in the cauldron with the one who gets closest, winning its contents.

“Hallowe’en has become a really popular celebration and a good excuse for some frighteningly good fun and we thought it would be nice to bring a little Hallowe’en fun to our show homes over the Hallowe’en weekend,” commented Steve McElroy sales director Miller Homes Yorkshire.

“Our young visitors are most welcome to come in fancy dress and encourage their grown-ups to enter our competitions, someone has to win after all.”

Hallowe’en, a festival that stems from the celebration of All Hallows Eve, has developed over the years to become a family event full of themed food, drink, decorations and dressing up.

It heralds the start of the winter events calendar with Bonfire Night and Christmas just around the corner.

“The end of October is a great time to find a brand new home for you and your family before the frenzy of Christmas festivities takes hold,” said Steve.

“Some of our homes will be ready to move into during next spring meaning that you can relax and enjoy your Halloween and Christmas celebrations, before thinking of packing up to move home and start a new chapter of your family life.”

Both competitions are open to all visitors to participating Miller Homes developments across the region.

Miller Homes has nine developments located across the region with properties ranging from two bedroom apartments to five bedroom luxury homes.

Prices currently range from £69,995 for a one bedroom apartment at its Stonebridge Fold development up to £820,000 for a luxury five bedroom flagship home in the heart of Harrogate.

Three further developments will open during 2016 in Wetherby, Harrogate and Bradford.
