Manning Stainton Estate Agents were delighted to launch their 2014 Mannings for Macmillan campaign earlier this year and they are kicking off their year of fundraising by Painting Leeds Green this Saturday to raise funds to support Macmillan Cancer Support in West Yorkshire.

With the support of the team, friends, family and Macmillan volunteers, they plan to take over Leeds city with an entertainment extravaganza.

Helping them will be a small army of fantastic local performers, including cheerleaders, who will be getting involved to help create a real party atmosphere.

Following a hugely successful 2012 campaign, raising a staggering £70,000, Manning Stainton are once again raising money to fund a Macmillan nurse for a year, the cost of which is about £50,000.

Mark Manning, sales director, said: “This is a charity close to the hearts of many of our team and we’re really excited about this Saturday, it’s our first big company event of 2014.

“We’ve got over 150 volunteers ready to help us make out Paint Leeds Green event a real success and we hope to collect even more money for our campaign.”

Clara White, fundraising manager for Leeds at Macmillan Cancer Support said: “This should be a great event and with over 150 people scattered across the city centre and train station we’re hoping to raise as much awareness for Macmillan as possible.”

If you see the team out in the city tomorrow, give them a helping hand by donating what you can and stopping to watch the various displays.
