If the excesses of Christmas are still causing you concern then Barratt Homes may be able to help.

As part of its on-going commitment to building communities, the housebuilder has joined forces with Nuffield Health Wakefield Fitness & Wellbeing Centre to offer free gym passes to house hunters visiting it’s The Foundry and Silkwood Gate developments in Wakefield this January.

The gym is offering a one-day pass for prospective buyers at the developments and a free month-long pass for those who reserve a house.

The initiative continues Barratt Homes’ efforts to build long lasting communities and forms one of many local investments the housebuilder has made in the area in recent years.

Nicki Jefferson, sales manager for Barratt Homes Yorkshire West, commented:

“Here at Barratt Homes we are committed to investing in the local communities in which we develop. We are very excited to be joining forces with Nuffield Health Wakefield so we can showcase the facilities on offer close to our developments.”

Cass Shepherd, general manager at the Wakefield gym, added: “We love to get involved with the local community, and providing free gym passes to visitors to the local developments, as well as memberships for those buying a new home, is just one of the ways we hope to demonstrate how fantastic the area is.”

Barratt Homes’ The Foundry and Silkwood Gate developments boast fantastic locations, close to the city of Wakefield. The developments offer a range of three and four-bedroom homes with prices starting from £134,995.
