La Palmera Restaurant is just a stone’s throw from the bustling streets of one of Leeds’s most desirable areas – Park Lane in Roundhay.

This hidden gem is next to the golf course in Roundhay Park, giving it the feel of a country estate as you dine overlooking the greens.

But the menu will transport you across Europe, with a wide choice of Mediterranean dishes to delight the discerning diner – plus a couple of Moroccan dishes to add an extra twist.

Family-run

A warm welcome awaits at this family-run restaurant which has co-owner Redouan, a chef with 24 years’ experience, overseeing the kitchen and his wife, brother and even daughters front of house.

The menu includes a range of Mediterranean styles – including Italian, Greek and Spanish – and means the menus have a breadth of European influences which go beyond the usual pasta and pizzas – although, they are there too!

“We wanted to give people more choice,” he said. Fresh ingredients and attention to detail mean they get diners returning again and again.
