Restaurants, cafes and bars in the region will finally find out tonight (March 10) if they are winners in the prestigious Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver awards 2014.
The awards, now in their sixth year, have become an established part of the dining scene in the region, rewarding the best for their commitment, passion and hard work.
Hundreds of guests will join the celebration at the Centenary Pavilion at Elland Road and enjoy dinner before the awards begin.
Broadcaster Jon Hammond and Jeremy Clifford, editorial director of the YEP, will then hand out the honours to winners in 16 categories, from formal restaurants to friendly cafe bars.
To crown the event, the winners of the two major prizes, the Overall Winner and the winner of the Outstanding Contribution award, will be announced.
A string of top restaurants have been shortlisted from hundreds of entries, covering many different types of menu, from the best of British to the best of world cuisine.
