FAST-GROWING Red’s True Barbecue is doubling its presence in Leeds – with a new restaurant in Headingley set to create 30 jobs.

The company, which already has a venue on Call Lane, is taking over the premises of the former Macy’s Grill. Opening in July, the building will be the subject of a £375,000 refit.

James Douglas, who co-founded Red’s with friend Scott Munro, said: “We’re delighted to be moving in to the heart of bustling Headingley, into such an incredible building with loads of history. We can’t think of a better place suited for Red’s.”
