Have your say

There’s nothing quite like zipping down a slide and making a big splash – it unleashes the kid in us again. If you are a kid, it’s a sure fire winner.

Either way The Dome in Doncaster has got you covered.

It is home to the UK’s only split-level ice skating rink, so Dancing On Ice wannabees can cut a shape and bust a few moves like they’re on telly!

The two interconnected ice pads give skaters of all ages and abilities the chance to glide as fast or as slow as they want, in what really is a pretty unique ice skating experience

They even run special theme events on ice, so keep a lookout on the website for more.

If you prefer a thrill rather than a chill, whip off the blades and pull on the trunks and make a splash in the giant indoor swimming complex known as the Amazonian Adventure.

A host of pools, geysers, fountains, jets and airbeds will whisk and whirl you about the place.

And fear not if you want something more tranquil as there are plenty of leisure and parent/toddler swimming sessions too.

The Dome is home to a massive fitness village too where you can work up a sweat or for a more relaxing experience, get pampered at the onsite spa complete with Finnish sauna cabins and Roman circular steam room.

Add in a range of places to grab a brew or something to eat and around 50 different activities on site, you are well covered under The Dome for a day out.
