If you’re looking for an exciting and energising way to start the spring then a trip to Dalby Forest may be for you.

With more than 8,000 acres of some of the finest forest around, Dalby plays host to a variety of days out.

From exciting mountain biking trails and Go Ape tree top adventures, to relaxing picnics and walking trails, Dalby’s got you covered.

The jewel in the crown for the adrenaline junkies is the Go Ape Tree Top adventure.

Bring out your inner Tarzan as you navigate high ropes, crossings, tunnels and bridges – not to mention ladders and zip wires.

The scenery is amazing and you’re well looked after thanks to special safety harnesses. Kids are covered thanks to the Tree Top Junior Adventure where kids can climb, leap and swing their way to a zip wire finish.

There’s also green self-balancing segways if you fancy a more chilled adventure.

If mountain biking is more your thing, Dalby offers a range of trails, from a 4km family route through to a challenging 34km route and more.

A visit to the stunning visitors’ centre is worth including, home to a café, shop, toilets and showers, and education facility.

Cared for by the Forestry Commission, Dalby offers a mix of fun and excitement, and a good tip is to bring a few spare clothes if you intend on getting muddy and book ahead for Go Ape during peak periods.
