THE media keep reminding us that it is "crunch time".
Yes, it is for Elland Road, of that there is no doubt.

If United do get promoted this season, what would happen in the Championship next season?

At present the squad is just not good enough to go to a higher level.

The Premier League is s
imply a dream for the team and for their solid supporters.

They, the supporters, are the ones who have gone to Elland Road and supported the club on the road – fact.

You must also have some sympathy for Gary McAllister as he inherited a sinking ship – fact again.

If Gordon Brown has problems with the economy at the moment, then you can rest assured that "Mighty Mac" has problems as well at Elland Road.

**********
WHAT exciting times are hopefully just round the corner for we long suffering Huddersfield Town fans.

In the new owner-in-waiting, Dean Hoyle, we will have a passionate Town fan at the helm. One who will always have the club's success as his first and only priority.

Plus, as an extremely successful businessman, the club should get the financial backing it will need to finally get back to the Championship and hopefully there is a renowned manager about to come in to spend it.

And what a fantastic offer the season tickets are to celebrate our centenary season – £100 is an unbelievable price and is just what is needed to win back all the fans we've lost over the last two years and, hopefully, several thousand new ones on top of that.

It is an awful long time since I've felt so excited and optimistic about the future of Town.
