Remove the board rather than points at struggling clubs

As the hearing regarding the deduction of 15 points from Leeds United arises, it is worth taking into account the relevance of the result for not just my team, Leeds, but others in the future.
What nobody seemed to say at the time is why 15 points?

Everyone knows that teams going into administration face a 10-point deficit, but nobody was ever aware the penalty for failing to come out of admin with a CVA was a further 15 points.

Also
, is it worse to not come out of administration correctly – as Leeds supposedly did – than to go into admin again as Rotherham have done.

I'm not sure that points deductions are the correct answer anyway for clubs who are struggling financially.

In the majority of cases, it means automatic relegation and further worsens their plight.

What may be a better option is to say no points deduction, but make clubs show they are getting their finances sorted out. You could prevent them buying players for that season and only allow loan deals and free transfers.

Also, people on the boards who allow clubs to get into such financial difficulties should not be allowed to return to football, so that people like Peter Ridsdale, pictured above, aren't able to have the pleasure of watching a new club in an FA Cup final. They should be held accountable, so that they are never in this privileged position again.

Finally, in my opinion, the Football League is praying that Leeds get into the play-offs with the deficit, so that it can make a token gesture of giving us five points back, so that nobody is affected and cannot put in a counter claim.

To even achieve this would be a magnificent effort from the club but it does not take away the fact that we were badly wronged (and some supporters from other sides do agree with this). If getting 15 points back means automatic promotion, then this is the justice that should happen.

MY name is Newton Siajanika and I am from Zimbabwe.

I am a die-hard fan of Leeds United but the problem here is that Leeds matches are shown at midnight and sometimes not shown at all.

So with this letter, I am pleading to some willing Leeds fans who could send me their old magazines, when they have finished reading them.
