Thatcher has no right to state funeral

I am astounded that Gordon Brown and the Queen would like Lady Margaret Thatcher to have a state funeral.
The last person outside royalty to have that honour was Sir Winston Churchill and he truly deserved it, he united the country by great leadership and encouraged us all to work together to obtain a better Britain.
But that can not be said of Lady Thatcher, she was responsible for dividing the nation into the have and have-nots and the exploiters and exploited.
Her greatest claim to fame was the Falklands War, but soon after that her political career went downhill fast and she was sacked by the Conservative Party.
I honestly feel sorry that we may not have enough troops to line the route to the cathedral if the funeral takes place.
But to solve that problem may I suggest that we ask the redundant miners and all of the other people who lost their livelihoods under her regime, to line the route to the cathedral, not in single line but at least six deep for them to say goodbye to her.
B BRADY,
Manston.
