YET again we see people being held under by a military junta.
The ruling junta is seizing aid supplies and they are not being distributed effectively.

This is tantamount to genocide! Nobody is allowed into this secretive country because the generals are frightened the outside world will see the extent of their mis-rule.

Watching the showpiece unloading of supplies by Burmese soldiers was laughable, also a general handing over electrical goods when the people do not have any power.

Why have they impounded two UN planes with aid supplies?

Most supplies and money will end up being distributed among the generals' supporters, leaving ordinary people starving to death.

Let the Chinese government, who have been backing this regime, take over the relief effort and save the aid for other countries who would be thankful for it.

The aid agencies are not at fault here; it lies at the feet of the corrupt generals.
