I WAS surprised to agree with Timothy Kirkhope's letter about the EU's unwise plan to make it compulsory that vehicle lights must switched on day and night.
Not only do vehicle headlights dazzle and make it harder to spot cyclists and pedestrians, but they also make it harder to see indicators.

I like David Cameron, and if the Conservatives carry on talking more common sense they might even get into Government.
