SO the group of priests who are looking at the world through rose-tinted spectacles, urging us all to find the courage not to vote for the BNP as there has been a large increase in votes for them.

The increase is not just in the Temple Newsam ward, it is nationwide. This is because this stupid government signed up to the Human Rights Act, leaving the judiciary with their hands tied when it comes to protecting us from individuals who want to blow us all to smithereens, such as Abu Qatada, pictured, spewing his hatred of us and urging all his followers to kill our soldiers, etc. Of course he still wishes to live in Britain and receive all his state benefits.

If I were in charge I would put him on a plane, take him to Jordan where he has been found guilty of terrorism, throw him on the tarmac at the airport, and shout, "Here he is, do what you will with him. We don't want him."

I would apply that rule to all we wanted rid of who was a threat to our security.

David Cameron said he would scrap the Human Rights Act. We shall see.
