IT is patently obvious Ed Balls MP will make his views known on any subject known to your readers in his attempt to ingratiate himself with the voters of Middleton, Morley and Rothwell constituency (Balls in our Court, YEP, July 4).
However, I am correct on one issue – the promised referendum.

He will not, despite numerous written requests, respond in any way; indeed if "silence is golden" Ed Balls is rich beyond the dreams of avarice!

Stop being selective, Mr Balls, and face up.

DEREK L BRADLEY, Springfield Road, Morley
