Nature lifts doom and gloom

JUST when we thought the world was coming to an abrupt end, credit crunch, petrol prices, cost of living etc, mother nature serves up a real tweet ('Thrush rears chicks in traffic lights', YEP, May 7).

I wonder if it's what is known as affordable housing?

What a real antidote to the pressure and stress of normal day to day living to get a glimpse of these chicks been lovingly cared for.

I just hope the 'pelican crossing' late at night doesn't disturb these little chicks having tweet dreams.

You have to laugh.

Mr G Coleman, Upper Batley Low Lane, Batley
