RE Tesco in Seacroft Green. I think the manager should be brought to task regarding the disgraceful state of the store last weekend due to the Leeds Festival revellers bringing in masses of mud. There was mud everywhere.
I would have thought with all the profits they were making from the sales of booze they could have brought in extra cleaners.

Re the disgraceful state of Tesco in Seacroft, if this had been a small business they would have been closed down until the shop was thoroughly cleaned of mud and dust. The revellers were walking around in their hundreds wearing their mud as a badge of honour. Tesco had allowed old buses to bring in these party-goers because part of the car park was cordoned off for them. It was possible to write your name on the dust that covered everything and anything. I noticed french sticks stored at floor level even though the floor was a sea of mud. The dust even hung in the air. On Monday it was still possible to run your fingers over shelves that were covered in dust, after the so-called cleanup!. Where were the Leeds Environmental Health officers? Were they doing their job? It didn't look like it to me. The manager should have been sacked for allowing this to happen but in reality I am sure Tesco Head Office will have given him a bonus for increasing profits.
