FACED by the rising tide of knife crime our completely inept Home Secretary has come out with yet another load of claptrap.
We are going to parade the people who are guilty of knife crime around the accident and emergency departments of our hospital. What a load of codswallop.

Let me suggest to Jacqui Smith the following:

l Slash red tape for the police by 75 per cent and turf all the police out of the stations on to the streets.

l Remind children that they can be clipped round the ear, that they can be arrested by citizens without the citizens suffering from being accused of kidnapping.

Is anything more ridiculous when we have tipped the balance so far against law and order? We have broken society. We have criticised the Christian religion. We have played havoc with law and order and now we wonder why we reap the whirlwind.
