Don't stop us feeding pigeons

Should we feed or not feed pigeons? At one point they used to sell corn so that you could go and feed the birds. They used the birds during war to carry messages. They even ate them when there was nothing else to eat.
So now we can't feed the pigeons but it's okay for people to sit and beg in the street. It's okay for the litter louts, it's okay for the drug abusers to throw their needles around . Leave the pigeons alone, it would be a poor world without our little feathered friends.
