Don't dismiss our hard work

WITH what seems like an annual debate cropping up yet again this year, people forget how hard kids across the city have worked for their grades.
I took my GCSEs this year and was very satisfied with the results, but find it very discouraging, as I'm sure many people my age do, to find politicians, professors, governors and the general public dismissing our hard work and hours of revision because the exams 'are getting easier'.
Maybe cynics could give a little praise to kids alongside their yearly moanings.
And to anyone who does believe the exams are getting easier, I would invite them to learn the syllabus over two years, undertake countless hours of revision and then sit through tens of examinations – because I can speak for most in saying these exams are still VERY challenging.
