Cruise was far from glamorous
I AM writing as a fellow cruiser about the legal cruise that was on at Elland Road. We attended and would like to know where the £12,000 was spent, as I regularly attend cruises and they do not cost a penny.
I had to laugh at the comment "it was a glitzy, glamorous gathering". It was cold, raining and boring and, to be honest, a waste of a day off work.
Also I think that the police presence put a lot of people off as we expected they were parked over the road ready to pick us off one by one.
The undercover police in the silver Vectra was also off-putting as it was in and around the cars in the show. I will call it a show not a cruise.
I also have to say that the picture featured in the paper, although it is a stunning car, what about the rest of the people that turned out? I do think that a full picture of the show would have been better.
I would also like to add where were the gorgeous models in leather catsuits draped across the bonnets of exotic motors, because the models that I saw were at the gate, freezing their little behinds off, not draped over cars.
