Car parking concern

While thoroughly disagreeing with residents having to pay for parking outside their own homes (YEP, July 16) what I would like to see is motorists who park outside other peoples houses having to pay for this privilege.

For example living on a major road, every day two motorists leave their cars in front of my and other residents homes. They are left from approx 8am to 4.30pm. When we return in our own car from shopping etc, we are forced to pull up beyond what we deem our parking region.

I have no objection to people parking for a short period but this all day parking should be penalised.
